Role overview
We are hiring a skillful and enthusiastic Senior PHP Developer to join our team of professionals at SEPA Cyber Technologies.
SEPA Cyber is a rapidly growing FinTech company based in Varna.
Core responsibilities:
- As part of the Development team, will be responsible for improving and maintaining core business systems. Working on 3rd party API integrations
- Will work closely with project managers, IT security officers and IT Operations Engineers to rapidly deliver high quality software products.
- Also will act as 3rd level support to the operations teams.
- Mentoring and guiding junior developers in their professional growth.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience as a senior PHP developer or equivalent position or 5+ on a mid level position
- Experience with the MVC software design pattern
- Strong knowledge on PHP and frameworks, such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symphony
- Excellent knowledge in RESTful services and API communication
- Experience with RDBMS systems, such as MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience with source and version control systems – GitHub/Lab, Bitbucket, SVN, etc.
- BS/MS degree in computer science
Advantages:
- Experience in development of dynamic web applications with any of Bootstrap, JS, Ajax, React, Node JS, Vue JS
- Experience and knowledge about Microservices architecture, automatic provisioning and tests automation with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Selenium or other products and tools
- Knowledge and experience with any of: Linux OS distributions, Web servers (Apache HTTPD server, Nginx, etc.), PKI, Load Balancing
- Understanding of the C4 Modelling Framework or other Architecture Framework
- Awareness to the security best practices in programming
- Experience with Agile based methodologies and roles
