Role overview
We are hiring a skillful and enthusiastic Backend Developer with Node.Js to join our team of professionals at SEPA Cyber Technologies.
SEPA Cyber is a rapidly growing FinTech company based in Varna.
As part of the Development team, will be responsible for improving and maintaining core business systems. Working on 3rd party API integrations.
Will work closely with project managers, IT security officers and IT engineers to deliver high quality software products.
Also will act as 3rd level support to the operations teams.
Responsibilities
- At least 2 years of experience with Node.Js
- Strong knowledge of Node.js frameworks
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript
- Knowledge in RESTful services and API communication
- Experience with the MVC software design pattern
- Experience with source and version control systems – GitHub/Lab, Bitbucket, SVN, etc.
- BS/MS degree in computer science
Any of the following will be considered as strong advantages:
- Experience in development of dynamic web applications with any of Bootstrap, JS, Ajax, React, Vue JS
- Knowledge on PHP and frameworks, such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symphony
- Experience with RDBMS systems, such as MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience with Microservices architecture, tests automation
- Knowledge and experience with any of: Linux OS distributions, Web servers (Apache HTTPD server, Nginx,, etc.), PKI, Load Balancing
- Understanding of the C4 Modelling Framework or other Architecture Frameworks
- Awareness to the security best practices in programming
- Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps, SCRUM/KANBAN
